Installing OEL6 on Asus G75V

I wanted to install Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 on my ASUS G75V laptop and encountered some issues.

1. Secure boot
If you try to boot from a bootable usb drive, or a bootable cd/dvd you will get "Signature" error and the installation will not start, its because the BIOS has a setting called as Secure Boot, which does not allow unsigned software to be installed. You can bypass this by going to BIOS setup and disable the Secure Boot.

2. X Window start to failed

Oracle SQL Developer 19.4 font too small

I downloaded the latest version of Oracle SQL developer on my windows laptop and when I started it, the font on GUI was too small. To fix the font size scroll to the bottom of the  'Welcome Page' and uncheck 'show on startup'. Restart the SQL Developer and issue will be fixed.
