Installing OEL6 on Asus G75V
I wanted to install Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 on my ASUS G75V laptop and encountered some issues.
1. Secure boot
If you try to boot from a bootable usb drive, or a bootable cd/dvd you will get "Signature" error and the installation will not start, its because the BIOS has a setting called as Secure Boot, which does not allow unsigned software to be installed. You can bypass this by going to BIOS setup and disable the Secure Boot.

2. X Window start to failed
Because the Asus has NVEDIA Graphics card the GUI based installation fails to start and the installation starts in the console mode. The implication is the Linux installed will have minimal drivers and is n
